Yoga blog 10

What a surprise during the 10 a.m. 26 and 2 class. During class, one of the teachers embarrassed me and told me to demonstrate the complete full-locus pose. As I was lying on the floor, I lifted both my legs slowly, and I noticed that I could lift both my legs higher than usual. Once I saw my leg getting higher through the mirror, I closed my eyes and used all my back strength to elevate it slightly higher, and all I heard was the gentlemen beside me, and the rest of the class said, ” Wow!!!!!!! Similarly, they have seen a magic show. I realized I had just completed the full-locus pose ( Poorna Salabhasana). The significant benefits of the pose are that it helps strengthen your back muscles and decrease constipation. As I was leaving class, I sat on the bench with my towel over my head to catch my breath and was congratulated by the rest of the yoga community. I told them Thank you for those words. I’m humble and told them and encouraged them that if I can do it, I can do the same thing. I was proud of myself because the hard work that I was doing was starting to show. My confidence is going to a whole new level. The advice I’ve been gaining improved, especially my hearing. I’ve been slowing down the entrance and exiting of my posture. I’m starting to breathe into my pose. My attention span is improving, my concentration is centered, and I am becoming a better version of myself.

  1. Congratulations Cease, I am pretty sure you have inspired a few of those other attendees in that class. It seems like those Yoga classes are one of the few places where positive energy is a requirement, The support you Yoga folks have for each other is cool.
