I woke up at 5 am, ate half of a banana, and took a uber to do the 6 am 75 min vinyasa class. I usually like to be in class 20 minutes before class to warm up my shoulder by using a strap and block, and the more I do it, the more my shoulder gets better, especially when I do the bow pose. I can feel my shoulder being Strech. My body soreness was going away. After that conversation with the yoga teacher, he was right regarding my recovery. Soi decided not to do Thursday’s 6 am 90 mourning class, Saturday’s 8 am and 10 am 90 min class, Sunday’s 4 pm 90 min 26 and 2 class, and 6 pm 90 yin class. I will wait until Monday to do the 9 am 90min 26 and 2 class, where I can start fresh. There will be a 2 part hip anatomy workshop for two consecutive Sundays that I will attend that will be demonstrated by one of the vinyasa teachers. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to participate in both workshops. I cannot wait to do the class since my hips are opening and also to be able to learn from a teacher with a lot of knowledge. While recovering my body from soreness was eating very well. I am eating a lot of salmon, tuna, and almonds, but I need more water.
